  1. basically, i am wondering what the HKS catback is. there are no pictures of it that i can find, and i want to know if it has resonators and mufflers, etc. is the muffler straight through style, or a big baffle type? anyone have pics of the exhaust assembled off the car, that would be great. any pics appreciated. and also, what does the tip look like? thanks, Graham

  3. so ive heard that raceTEP.com exhausts are garbage. i have no idea if this is true or not. ive heard the downpipes hit the engine block or something?? anyway, i know the exhaust i will be choosing will be a 2.5 inch catless turbo back exhaust. i do not wanna do custom because it seems too hard. i was thinking TEP downpipe and b-pipe (midpipe), and HKS catback system. is this a good setup? are the TEP products really that bad? anywhere else i can get a 2.5 inch (must be mandrel bent) downpipe and mid-pipe (b-pipe)?? thanks, Graham

  5. just as stated, i need a front wheel stud. none of the dealers around me have anything, and none of the autoparts stores do either. they carry a rear wheel stud, but it is not the same. Thanks, Graham

  11. so which is better? is it like raceTEP.com says and that a 3 inch exhaust is worse on a street starion? im thinkin a 2.5 would be better because it would stay hotter and flow more, but idk... oh my starion is stock but and only planned mods are marnal JVE, 1.0mm OS SS valves, head, 12-14 psi with 12a, fuel aupport, hardpipes what do you guys think, anyone had experience with both for a comparison??   12. if you know how to ride motorcycles (like real, powerful motorcycles), then go for it if the miles are low and its in good condition and it passes a compression test, if you can get one done...... let me tell you tho, those bikes are extremely fast.. i had a 2006 Suzuki RM250 (250cc 2 stroke race bike) and that thing only had like 1/3 the gsxr750, and it would throw you on yous a$$ if you dont know exactly what your doing.....   15. i was lookin for eclipses and stuff, found an ad for a 4g63 mighty max, a 1g eclipse engine i think, and it had like turbo upgrades, fuel, everything, and it had a starion fmic... so i looked up starion, because i had no idea what it was, and saw them. at that time, i instantly knew i had to have one... 4 months later i had sold my mint 2006 Suzuki RM250 ricky carmichael motox replica bike. got 3200 for the bike, borrowed some money from my dad, and i got my first one, 75k original 88 fiji tsi for 3600..... i kinda miss the bike... that thing had about 50 hp to the rear wheel, and it weighed 210 pounds, so think about that. it was literally a scarily fast bike, it would hit 80-85 pinned..... but i would pass cars on the highway all the time and in the trails, cuz its a 2 stroke, it was so light and snappy, it felt like it pulled harder than my friends 450.... i love my quest more though, and ill never sell it Graham

  17. i am thinking about tupgrading the 12a to a 14b. ive heard, but do not really know which specfic parts i need (like cartridges and wheels ans housings). i am assuming it would be cheaper to rebuild rather than buy a whole new 14b, and i dont really want a used one, i want it to be nice and newly rebuilt. so what is ALL the parts ill need? i know a lot of you guys have done this before Thanks, Graham

  22. yes they have the 2.2 liter f22c now. it makes the same hp but at 1000 rpm less, 8k redline. the 2003 and older s2k's had a 9000 rpm redline. idk the torque specs, but since its a small high revvin 4 cyl, its not high at all. i wasn't saying fully modded i4's will beat full modded v8's, but, i am saying that the companies that G54B_hater would call ricer companies hold the world record for n/a and turbo highest hp per liter. this shows that this guy is ignorant and cant see the facts. and honda, 4 cyl's are like top 3 most reliable cars in the world you cant argue that honda engines are bad. they have vtec (i hope you know what this is) and can hit 9000 rpm still making power. and fully tuned, they can still run in the 10's at least, being N/A and a 1.6, 1.8, or 2.0 liter. that is simply amazing..... im not sayin that every crappy civic is a supercar, because ill admit more than 90 percent of them are complete peices of crap (whether tuned or not). but the 10 percent that are actually built with performance in mind are amazing. i wanted to buy a eg (92-95) civic hatch and strip it, and drop in a JDM integra type r engine. stock that is at least 160 whp in a car that weighs under 2000 pounds easy. ive seen them beat modded mustangs before.....   23. perfect description!!! and as far as Mopar guys respecting these cars, thats good, i wouldn't want any respect from them anyway. same way i dont respect any v8 at all (whether its mopar, ford, bmw whatever). i hate v8's. If you're obsessed with mopar, its time to look at the facts: Highest HP per liter N/A - Honda S2000 (f20c) 2.0 Liter, 247 HP Highest HP per liter Turbo - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution fq400 (4g63) 2.0 liter, 400 HP. i dont see any v8's there, let alone any Mopar's. only 4 cylinders (or maybe RICE as you would call it) but at the end of the day, as far as power efficiency(power per liter) is concerned, it beats your $hitty v8 or Mopar every time. Graham and by the way, i didn't even look up those facts about highest HP, i knew them, i also know a lot about hondas thats how i knew the engine code
