  5. thanks again dawg great info and working as fast as posible to get this done also one question if i put an aftermarket FPR and by lowering the pressure do you think i will be able to tune the big injectors with the car ? right now it has the magna stock fpr and its readin 40psi.
  6. ok i guess i will have to lock the distributor is there a topic in here that says how to lock it step by step? i know most people here will say to look in the forums but can anyone show me the right direction. about the injectors well im going to have to find a way to be able to tune it with the 95# cuz i dont have mony to buy a new set of smaller injectors.
  7. thanks dawg at last somebody helps me well i will do that tomorrow to see how it works and i will let you know how it goes. If i unplug the vac advance do i have to lock the distribuitor or can i just leave it unpluged and it will work just fine. And also should i get smaller injectors cuz my friend is trading me his 850cc injectors for mine but i dont know if i should do it cuz i want to be able to tune it pretty good with does injectors so i can switch to e85 but right now i need my car running what do you think?
  8. Hey guys i need some serious help for tuning my starion. I finally got my mpi starion to start but wow it is a pain in the back to try and tune my car. I will be honest i know how to work on cars mechanically but tuning a stand alone ecu i have no clue thats why i need help. I got it started but it idels to rich and i lean the ecu but it still rich to the point that the car is spiting fuel through the exhaust and cant get it to run right. HALTECH TUNERS HELP? I have been doing this for a while already and i want my car to run so i can drive it before i go on another deployment. this is my dream guys i really need help. i will let u know what i have on the car so you know and see if you can help me. wiseco 8.0:1 pistons .020 race preped rods stock head stock cam distribuitor w/vac advance 19c turbo delphi 95# injectors (i dont know if it is an overkill for the car) bosch 300lph fuel pump magna manifold w/stock fpr and 5.0 TB jet valve Elimination Kit Balance shaft eliminated Haltech Platinum Sport 2000 ECU
  9. well the compresion from the wiseco are 8.0:1 and yes it is all put back together the right way by the book and it still breaks the pin. Questian what should i be looking for in the cam bolt cuz what i can say about it which it is weird to me is that the pin breaks off the cam but the gear and the small front gear for the dist. keep spining with the bolt. and i dont see why the bolt dont tighten with the cam it just keep's spining.
  10. well i really dont know what it is the towers were torqued to car specs which is 15lbs everything was put back together to when built to all torque specifications for the car. could the higher compression be the cause for this to happen?
  11. ok guys i got the car to start and it was at idle for a good 40sec but now i have a new problem and hopefully u guys can help me with that or some reason the car is snaping the camshaft/cam gear lock pin. have any of u had this problem it has done it 3 times in a row is there a way to fix that problem? is there an upgrade roller lock pin out there that i can buy? i appreciate ur help guys thanks.
  12. yes the haltech is controlling the timing and it starts it runs for like 2 seconds and it dies right now we have the ignition locked at the haltech on 0 tdc and we are playing around with the distributor to see if we could get it runing but nothing we disconnected the vac advance line and nothing either i have been trying to get this cars started and running for almost 2 weeks already but since we have never done this mpi swap before the tunner and me dont know what to look for to fix it.

  14. hi guys im in search on serious help on MPI. Ok im going crazy with it ok i have done the mpi and its dropped in the engine bay and everything im using a haltech platinum 2000 ecu, and my stock distributor with vac advance i changed the hydro rockers for mechanical cuz for some odd reason that we cant figure out it kept breaking the lock pin on the cam. but my problem is that we cant get it to start everything was wired up perfect it attempts to start but it shuts off guys i need help does the dist. work with the vac advance or do i have to lock the distributor. what ideas u guys have for this kind of situation. MPI guys i need ur help.
  15. hey harrison how did u do the ignition i got a 2000 series we are having trouble with ignition we have no spark im usin the haltech single ignition module but we have no spark how did you do it?

I feel very sad for all the people that are ignorant in this world always blaming everything on what race he is or who's fault is that it happened . but the truth is that this happens everywhere in the world and here in the united states on all races, white's, blacks, asian, hispanics, indians and yes also muslims. but the truth is that until the investigation is over nobody can sayor determine what is the cause of this, so far yes it looks like it might be something with terrorism but only when the investigation ends you will know the truth behind this so stop blogging about BS when none of you know the truth cuz none of u where there but i was there cuz yes thats where i work i was on lockdown till 0730 pm and wasnt able to leave base till almost 10pm but guess what even by me being there only a couple of blocks away from the situation, I still dont know what was the reason for this person to lose his mind and do what he did. Stop blaming races, presidents or religion for anything that happens cuz even one of your neighbors can lose his mind and kill everyone in your neighborhood including every single one of you and what are u going to blame it on if it happens race, religion oh yeah and the president come on guys anyone can get a nervous breakdown and who knows what will happen next. so remember that anything can happen at anyplace and at any second so dont be pointing fingers to say its your fault cuz u could be there and guess what some will point that finger to you and blame u for it and you will probably say it wasnt my fault so thats my 2 cents.
  17. i found the problem one of the cables from the ecu broke of enough to not make contact from one of the wires where the SAFC is connected somehow it would only do it when i made a right turn but thanks guys it is working like a champ again
  18. V1 i will check ur idea cuz what your saying is exactly what happens with the car so i pray that your right cuz its driving me crazy thanks i will post again with the updates when i check the steering column. Do you remember what cables we're the ones shorting out?
  19. ok guys i need help today my car started turning off every time i make a right turn and it only does it when i turn right the car shuts off completely i tried to find what it is but i have no idea i did left turns, sudden stops, quick take off's and nothing but as soon as i turned right the car looses power completely and shuts off any idea what it is guys?

  21. well minagera bank money. is this your first time as a contractor if it is, I just let you know you will be fine. As a contractor u dont have to worry about anything u will be banking money. u will be bored and u are in kuwaitt! yeah u will be safe camp arifjan is as safe as being back home and u can sometimes go to the city which is like 10 minutes from there and its a huge city and very nice i have been there before. now im in Iraq but im a soldier not a contractor be cool and dont get cought doing anything wrong or it will be ur last. just do what u have to do and keep ur nose clean.
