pineapple1961
Hi , i thought i'd take a few minutes and update you all through Randy's build thread on this fun cars progress.Randy was kind enough to sell me his car recently and it now resides in Las vegas, all i can say is thanks to Randy for building and engineering one fantastic car ! .I'm a 5'0 tall petite female and this car not only makes all the right sounds its also so easy to drive and currently is daily driven everyday a round trip of 50 miles to my work and back and again testemony to Randy's time, thought and execution of this v8 engine swap. The cars next step is new paint, interior and some "bling" which will all be handled here locally by Scotty Gibb , thanks Randy , i LOVE this car ! ......Valerie. leetaztsi
Just for the sake of the thread, the 1UZFE has been swapped into a SQ before.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnlgs04LXGI A supercharger would be the easiest, but i'd try everything I could to get two small-ish turbo's in there instead. ITB 1UZ.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fm5k1ntJNBU Don't forget the 2UZ's(4.7L)... http://fuindustries.com/MKIV/Pictures/My_MKIV/Real_Street_Performance/060309/MKIV-V8_Motor-060309-003.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a355/c0wboy/widebody/Picture004-7.jpghttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a355/c0wboy/widebody/Picture001-11.jpghttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a355/c0wboy/Chris%20motor%20build/Picture007-5.jpghttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a355/c0wboy/widebody/Picture006-3.jpg that sh!t is F'N REdic

SOTTY
Indeed an old thread , the car has clocked up another 20 thousand plus miles since 2009 , making more power and as loud and reliable as ever , 21 town 26 freeway mpg , Valerie still uses this car as her 'grocery getter".Over the past years it has gained a new interior, revised exhaust and cooling systems along with new old stock SHP rims i was lucky enough to obtain .The car is and always will be Val's 'pride and joy'and drives superb, testomy to Randy's fastidious build. Mech
What are your questions? for the power steering, did he just connect the lexus pump and resevoir to the starion steering box? or was there other modifications necessary to make it work? did he use the lexus fuel pump, or the starion fuel pump?...I imagine different fuel pressures for different setups.....adjustable FPR? SOTTY
Custom lines from the Lexus pump to the Starion steering box, Walbro pump handles the fuel duties and yes a FPR and Gina the car has coil packs left hand corner of the firewall ,i plan to be at the M.O.D this year with this car so you can check it out then , Randy is still around , he pops up occasionally Edited June 27, 2014 by SOTTY
BC_99
I've been fortunate enough to get to meet Scotty and go for a ride in this car. Amazing....is still not a good enough description. The things cruises through traffic and city streets, light to light, as easy and smooth as you want, like you would expect any Toyota, but when the driver decides to " let it loose", hang on to your jock strap, cuz that bisch moves!!! Aesthetics of the station need not be mentioned, as we all know what a great looking car they already are, but with the low v-8 growl at cruising speeds, erupting into a snarl that will make most cars think twice, when the business pedal is put to the intended purpose. You decide to do a similar swap and you won't be disappointed. http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/BC_99/Random%20cool%20shit/20140308_175516_zps5b17ec79.jpg BC_99 Edited June 28, 2014 by BC_99
