Ok so i did suprise myself, the guy doing the dyno was supprised as well. I was looking for 500, well it did that and more. Thats right 554hp 471tq @22lbs on the stock ecu baby lol. So here is the crappy news, i think the clutch or tranny is F'd so no track tonight :angry: i will post the dyno sheets later gonna go an pull that tranny.... yay.

 

Hey I'm not knockin' but your torque seems low...IDK mine was more than my HP..

But at those numbers you will feel and see the power..there is no mistake. :)

Here is what happened to the clutch. I will be calling southbend first thing tomorrow morning, the first clutch started slipping, they upgraded me for 125 to there stage 4. I has been just over a month, this is BS.

I've never seen anyone dynoing in 3rd gear. I thought the whole point of it was to be in 1:1

southbend will swap clutches for you all day.

I work down the street from them.

I've had one disc last that they made.

 

get a different clutch.

 

This was a different one than I had last month. I had the stage 3 this was the stag.e 4. Didnt even hit the track yet on this one, its just over a month old.

I need to do a shout out to both Serp and VetteKlr. I had a chance to see both their rides while on a business trip last week. Talk about some sweet engineering!

 

Serp took me for a ride in his sled... and the term... HOLY SHEEEEEEEEIT! doesn't even do it justice. The car is flat out a BEAST! Talk about getting out of town in a hurry....

 

Serp.. thanks much... hope there were no stains on the upholstery!

 

The paintjob on Vette's car is super! I had to ask him who his "tailor" was! LOL Supposedly the guy who did the paint won't do another one at that price. If he would... I'd ship mine from Arizona to Maryland to have him do it!

 

 

So... much thanks to both of you. I got a lot of good tips and with a little luck maybe I'll get mine finished this year.

A few updates, got the clutch back from southbend for the third f ing time. I put it in and guess what happens??? the !@#$% breaks again doing a pull in third gear. Im done with southbend, they were trying to say its me, that im using the clutch as a brake, and im doing wicked downshifts and launches. No there s*** is not worth my time F them. Anyways now that i got that outta the way, i got another turbo.... well it was with this turbo i was doing the pull in third gear and the !@#$% broke lol. So now i have to sell it to get a clutch, oh its a holset HX40. Very nice turbo i might add. Anyways i decided to go with a strapless twin disc because of all my issues with strapped single. If i were a gambler, well i am kinda, i would get another single disk and get my ecu but i couldnt pass this up. Now i had to sell one of my nutz and part of my arse for this but i think, no this crap better work.

That bolt you see is what i added, it snapped like a twig. It would have been worst if it wasn't there.

I Like Goooooolllllld (Goldmember) The Allen fasteners are much stronger than the shoulder bolts used on the previous clutch. Anxious to see the progress. Awesome!
