Just imagine how much power everyone would be making if they had bought a USDM 2JZ though :lol:

Man, come on now, ain't none of us got deep enough pockets to buy a nice 30k car and tear it apart.

Most of us can't "drop $15 grand into it, over night parts from Japan, maybe." :lol: :lol: :lol:

I will post the results as soon as i get them in and make some videos off course. I want to hit the track before i get them in though so i can do a before and after test. My last time out i had a boost leak and no antilag, should run some good times. Remember guys im still running the stock ecu, so with the aftermarket ecu, a lil more timing who knows what this thing will do. The car runs freaking amazing.

They don't make anymore power then the jdm when you go single turbo. Infact mine makes more power then most of the supra guys cars.

 

Its an inside joke between BOHO and I....trust me, I know.

I cannot even begin to describe to you guys what this car feels like now. It is almost scary how freaking hard it pulls now, it seems like the motor whats to rip everything apart. Its putting me back in the seat now. Im uploading videos now, i had to adj the idle :) and adj the idle setting on the safc to lean it out some at idle. I can only imagine when i go full stand alone, sweet moses this s*** is insane.

Congrats on the cam swap.! look fun.

 

It is B, I took it out today with the slicks to practice my launches. Im spinning the the tires in 1st and second like I still have the street tires on wt.... (lmfao) I heated the tires up pretty good so good that it was a pitfa to get that crap or the bumper, anyways I will put some tape on that bad boy. Im gonna hit the Dyno on wed morn and hit the track wed evening. Looking for 500 on the stock Ecu and at least 11.5 in the quarter.

I think/hope you are going to surprise yourself on the dyno. Are you still on the stock HG?

 

Is the only thing that the oem ecu holding you back is the ability to adjust timing? I would think with the 1000's you were able to stay pretty efficient with the afr's.

Pretty much just timing, the afrs are ok but im not gonna spend much money on a fine tune when the full ems is a few months away. Im below 12 for the most part, i might see a 12.2 sometimes. The engine is all stock i haven't touch anything inside except for the cams. Once the full standalone is in here i think acceleration is gonna be even more interesting ;)

I don't know if I missed it but what version are these cams? Stage 3? All I've found for the 1j are BC they are around 550$

 

NVM I found it...so they are 269's? I was going to go for the BC 272's when I did it.

Ok so i did suprise myself, the guy doing the dyno was supprised as well. I was looking for 500, well it did that and more. Thats right 554hp 471tq @22lbs on the stock ecu baby lol. So here is the crappy news, i think the clutch or tranny is F'd so no track tonight :angry: i will post the dyno sheets later gonna go an pull that tranny.... yay.
