Ok, I've come to the realization that I will never, ever use this hood that is sitting in my garage. It's not in perfect, condition, but it should be perfectly usable after some repair (it is currently primed, and has a small rust hole in it). The plastic parts are there, and in good shape. Most know what this looks like, but I post pics shortly so you can see the condition. Please, no shipping available, pick up in Wesley Chapel, FL only.

I bought this YEARS ago, before the fiberglass were even available, so I'm not sure what it's worth anymore, but I'd like to get $50 for it, I paid a lot more back in the day, I jsut want it gone.

Thanks,

JR, I'm in Tampa and would like to take a look at it. I might be able to get out of there for you. I have an '83 hood, but I know someone that would like one if it's not too far gone. I paid $40 for my hood. I think those people asking so much milking the market for all they can get. Edited by BIL

Wow, I guess I should have searched other sales before posting my price, I looked on ebay and only saw the fiberglass ones (why don't people just buy those?), looks like the inserts were worth more than what I listed it all for! lol

anyway, thanks for all the reponses, I got deposit on it already so it I'll consider it sold, and hopefully out of my garage next week!

Next up? maybe my 89 with TPI that I haven't driven for a couple of years now... Just no time to keep it up, or play anymore.... :( It's eating Fuel filters last I messed with it, runs strong with a fresh one, but only for about an hour or so... Needs paint.... Any idea what it could be worth? I'm sure pics would help, I'm not quite ready to sell yet, but am thinking about it.

:(

and...its probably going through filters because of rust in the tank.

Ditto. The rust needs pumped out at least. You can disconnect the filter and just run the fuel into a bucket. Let it settle and pur the fuel back in through a cheap filter and do it again about 3 times, or until no rust comes out.
