  1. HI, Boston, not sure I know what you mean, can I send a larger file in PM, I must be missing it if so...
  2. Oh, I have pictures too if needed, I can't attach them here due to the size....
  3. Hi I'm really not sure how to ship something like this, but I'll see if I can find out. I'm pretty sure it's going to be rediculously expensive though? As far as caps, yes, they are there along with the valves, springs, retainers, etc. When I went to a non-jet vavle head I pulled out the Schneider cam, that was in it, that is the only reason for the missing CAM, the head was fine, had new valve seals etc even. Let me know if there are any other quetsions. thanks,
  4. Keep finding parts around here, I think this is finally the last one. Head from my 89, no cam shaft, but the valves and springs are there. Head had no cracks, and was flat when it was pulled off. $30 for someone to pick it up in Downtown Tampa, or Welsey Chapel. Let me know if anyone is in need. Thanks,
  5. BUMP I just want it out of my garage. The head is clean, but has no cam or rockers, the springs and valves are there. $25, for someone to pick it up, the aluminum is probably worth that I'd think. I'm in Wesley Chapel, north of tampa, but can also meet someone in Downtown Tampa. I can't ship or deliver it for that price though... Any interest? Thanks,
  6. These parts keep popping up, found the original cylinder head from my 89 conquest in my parents shed. It was pulled when I did a conversion to a NJV head, it wasn't blown and showed no problems, I just did the conversion and removed it somewhere around 90k miles. The studs on exhaust manifold side are all good, one of the back ones was tapped to a larger size due to the hole being damaged. I will post a pic of it later, but I'm looking to get $100 for it. Thanks.
  7. Hey Livewire, did you get my PM back? If not, anyone else interested?
  8. Not much, I have a head (w jet valves), I'll throw it in with the tranny if you want it. I think you and I spoke when I was selling the coated turbo heat shield...
  9. haha, sure, I'm guessing Cali pigeons must be a LOT bigger than here in Fl, so send one down, and will bungee this baby on.
  10. Sorry, if I do have them, I couldn't tell you. I have a bucket of bolts, but none of the mounting ones are on the tranny. No one wants a spare tranny? how about for $150, my parents just want it out of the garage!! Again, this is the smoothest shifting one I ever felt, event the 1 to 2 shift was a like butter, I don't think it saw much abuse in it's lifetime.
  11. Transmission pulled from a running 1988 Starion, had ~110k on it when I pulled it. This was the smoothest starquest transmission I ever felt, shifted perfectly, Synchros felt great which is why I had kept it. I sold the car so will never use it now. I'm looking to get $150 for it. I in the Tampa bay areas in Fl if you want to pick it up. I'd consider trying to help with shipping, but that is going to be pretty expensive. Thanks,
  12. I have a pair of Stebani Rear Camber Adjusters for sale, never used. Tried to sell on eBay but the winner backed out, so offering them here if there is interest. Thanks
  13. I sold my car, and am going the parts I had stored in my parents garage (to their joy). So I will be posting some stuff on ebay if anyone is interested. http://motors.shop.ebay.com/jro2008/m.html?_trksid=p4340.l2562 Some fairly rare parts included, will post a 5 speed transmision soon once I figure out how to ship it.... Anyone have suggestions on that?
  14. This car was definitley worth more in parts, but I've got a tracking number for the deposit, so I'm pretty sure it is really sold anyway. thanks! Jesse
  15. hi, the auction ended with no bids, but I may have a deal on it now. you can check it out here though: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180686031930&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEUSX%3AIT
  16. Just relisted on eBay for 2500. A lot more than that in parts here... Sigh.
  17. So am I asking too much? How about 2800?? Maybe I will pull it out and take more pictures, and vid of it running? any suggestions? I just get question on how to make the fuel system on ebay....
  18. Hi all, my car is on eBay but I thought I'd post it here as well. Here is a copy and past of my ebay ad. I'm asking 3k, I have more than that in mods easily, but it's just sitting and not doing me a bit of good at this point. 1989 Chrysler Conquest - Rebuilt Title I have owned the car for about 17 years, daily driven the first 7, and mostly parked the last 10. The car has had a lot of time & money put into it, but still needs more to be 100%. I just don't have the desire to work on it at this point. Owning the car for so long, it makes the details hard to remember, but I will try and put all I can remember. If you have questions, or want to chat about feel free to send me your number and I will call you, I have been a fan of these cars since my early teens. I bought the car with the rebuilt title already, so I do not know the details of what happened. Since this was pre-airbags, etc I never worried about it much. It has always driven straight, and aligned without issue. Any questions, please ask. Good / Mods: The car has about 134k miles. 15k since the motor was built Motor has wiseco Piston, matched ports, 20g turbo, non-jetvalve head, balanced rotating assembly with balance shafts removed, lightented factory flywheel, and all the wear items were replaced with factory mitsubishi parts, ie the timing chain, bearings, and more that I don't remember at this point I'm sure. Intake is a custom made part, with rc engineering 550cc injectors, mustang cobra Throttle Body (70mm), and a large after market intercooler Turbonetics Godzilla Turbo Bypass Valve Aftermarket custom aluminum radiator Stebani strut mounts & brace. I also have the same for the rear, but the reat is not installed, I had my sub in the way. Eibach lower springs, tockico strut, and ground contol aftermarket sway bars and mounts Stedbani aluminum flywheel, not installed autometer phantom complete gauge set. Only the Tach & Temp gauge were ever installed, but I have the rest there. Factory SHP 8" front & 9" rims DTA e48 ECU to run the Mutliport injection. http://www.dtafast.co.uk/E48_EXP.htm 3" turbo back exhaust, with 3" cat and borla stainless muffler Includes custom SUB box No rust on the frame or panels cross drilled rotors, and stainless brake lines. ABS replaced with a summit bias valve to you can change between front and rear brake power. The distributor Ignition replaced with a coil pack, and crank sensor system that is run byt he DTA unit Has a wide band Air fuel sensor - great for road tuning and logging Polk Audio Speakers Bad / Needs: The paint is bad, it was not done well and has a lot of orange peel. Embarassingly I had this done, went way too cheap, but I was broke back then. The drivers side body had some light damage, and when they painted it they tried to fix it with Bondo, but did a bad job. It doesn't look horrible, but no better than the light dent that was there, and the bondo cracked a bit as well. This is definitley not the reason for the cars title, it was a very light damage and was better before we "fixed" it. Interior is mostly there, but has no radio, and is partially disassembled as pictured. The factory guage cluster is also cut. I have spare on if you want to just go back to factory guages. I think the gas tank may have rust in it again, this happened once before, due to ethanol I'm sure. I replaced it once, but I think it happened again since it sits for long periods of time, and when I started it it is bogging again. The car still runs, but I think the fuel filter is clogged up again. IF you have interest in the car, I will replace the filter to show that it does run very STRONG, just needs that dealt with. The Car is begging to be driven regularly obviously. The tune is not perfect, especially when cold, but it is very drivable. I actually was driving it back and forth to work (26 miles each way) about 5 years ago. Tires and rims. Tires are all dry rotted, and the one removed from the car does not hold air. The rims have scratches and dents. I had a excellent set of the 7 / 8 rims, but traded them for this set of beat up SHPs about 3 years ago with the intent to repair and polish them, but lost interest. The AC doesn't work, the condenser is not installed, but should be able to be put in if you want to have AC back I will miss it a bit. I'm certain I'm missing some items, but that is all I can think of. I have been a longtime fan of these cars, but just don't have the time to work with it, and hate to see it not being taken care of, or finished. I have way too much money in this car as you can tell by the parts listed, and thoguth about parting it our, but would rather someone use it, I had lot of fun with that car but it is time for it to go. I struggled with what to ask for the car, it has way more money in parts, but I know it is a project, so will listen to offers. When the car was is on the road it pulls hard, and is quite fast. It ran a 14.1 before the TPI conversion with the 20g and built motor on the stock TB injection. It feels much faster with the new setup, but I never went back to the track after the tpi work. I have a lot more pictures here: http://s1125.photobucket.com/albums/l591/starion3/ebay3/
  19. Thanks for the comments, I've lowered the price some more, and put it in national list. Any interest out there? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180680023971 Save it from being parted!!!! Thanks
  20. I'm selling my car, haven't touched in a couple of years, so it's just being wasted. Posted it on ebay as the forum doesn't allow best offers, I don't even want to know what I have in it, I just don't have time for it anymore. It needs paint, and other work, but I'm certain I could part it for a good bit, but can't stand the thought, and don't have the time. It is in the local section of ebay, so may not come up in a search, the zip is 33544 if you need it.... I also have an extra 5 speed, and head that I will be selling separately (not pictured), so make an offer if you like. It was an awesome car, I loved it, but have moved on to other interests. Thanks, Here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chrysler-Conquest-Starion-Silver-1989-Conquest-Starion-manual-custom-TPI-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2a10ef5d9dQQitemZ180672748957QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks
  21. Hey all, long time since I've been around, and the car has just been sitting, so I Think I'm ready to part ways with it. The car has more money \ and time invested in it than I even want to think about, I've had the car for 15 years now, so we had a good run. Unfortunaley it has not been driven much in the last 2 years or so. The car is running a DTA fast ecu, and is setup with 550cc injectors on a home made manifold. The car was only street tuned, no dyno, but it was running pretty good at the end there. Cold starts were not smooth, but it would run. The car has wiseco pistons, non-jet valve head, ARP stubs, and 20g turbo, all with about 15k miles on them. I have stebani aluminum flywheel that I never isntalled. The chasis has ~120k miles. The gas tank developed rust a couple of years ago, and I swapped it, and was OK for a while, but it has so long I think it may be having issues again as the filter seems to be clogged. I haven't felt like dealing with it, so it's just been sitting. The body is not rusty, but needs work, it has some dings, and a terrible paint job on it. It has Eibach springs and tokiko struts, and larger sway bars as well. I also have the stebani bushing and struit tower set. interior is in decent shape, the guage cluster is apart though, I started to swap out all the guages for autometers(that I have the full set of) but never finished. The only ones conencted are RPM & temp. The worst part is that it has a rebuilt title, so that means it was declated a total loss at some point. I bought it that way and do not know the details, but you can see where it was repaired in the front right when you open the hood. I drove the car a good 80k miles though, and never had a problem from it, drove srtaight and no tire wear issues. I'm not sure what to begin to ask for it, I know it's worth more appart, especially with the title issue, but I feel bad doing that to it.... What do you guys think is a fair deal? Shoudld I just post it on ebay? some pics are here: http://s162.photobucket.com/albums/t249/jessegiovaniortiz/89Conquest/ Car is located near tampa, fl
  22. Wow, I guess I should have searched other sales before posting my price, I looked on ebay and only saw the fiberglass ones (why don't people just buy those?), looks like the inserts were worth more than what I listed it all for! lol anyway, thanks for all the reponses, I got deposit on it already so it I'll consider it sold, and hopefully out of my garage next week! Next up? maybe my 89 with TPI that I haven't driven for a couple of years now... Just no time to keep it up, or play anymore.... It's eating Fuel filters last I messed with it, runs strong with a fresh one, but only for about an hour or so... Needs paint.... Any idea what it could be worth? I'm sure pics would help, I'm not quite ready to sell yet, but am thinking about it.
  23. Ok, I've come to the realization that I will never, ever use this hood that is sitting in my garage. It's not in perfect, condition, but it should be perfectly usable after some repair (it is currently primed, and has a small rust hole in it). The plastic parts are there, and in good shape. Most know what this looks like, but I post pics shortly so you can see the condition. Please, no shipping available, pick up in Wesley Chapel, FL only. I bought this YEARS ago, before the fiberglass were even available, so I'm not sure what it's worth anymore, but I'd like to get $50 for it, I paid a lot more back in the day, I jsut want it gone. Thanks,
