87 Starion Auto. Inspected till December. 40k on rebuilt trans, 4 new tires. The black leather seats are in good shape but it is pretty rusty. Oh and it's knocking and has antifreeze in the oil. :crutches:

Send the girls up to help. I need some one around so i keep at it, otherwise i take long breaks and look at this damn computer. I did start on another 3.90 rear though :character0028: I don't know whether to drop in a on known used engine, finish a fresh one i started a while back or just go ahead and start the part out. :character0285:

I really like the flatty for a daily driver. They are lighter weight and more nimble on their feet so to speak, and get better mileage. Great passing power for the freeways too.

If I were you I would fix it for a daily driver. They're a blast!

I was in Pacifica very near SF a few months ago. I saw a beautiful two tone '83. I think it was maroon upper and tan lower. It was parked right on the coast at one of the beaches. I might have some pics of it somewhere.

Yes Pics!.

is it two tone patterned like the blue silver 83s?

There was a maroon/gold two tone in later years, but I hadn't seen one for 83 yet.

Well, I don't think I have the pics now. I can't find them, and I think they were on a video cam that was stolen by a United baggage handler on that trip!

I think now it could easily have been an '84, but I could swear I remember '83 wheels, B-Pillar trim, and hood.

I know the '85.5 are 5 lug wheels, are yours the 4 or 5 lug pattern? can't tell from the pics. If they're 4, would you be interested in some 16" rims when I get my 17" Centerlines? Just planting the seed of flatty wheel love!!!
