Such a shame. I was hoping to see that K, by god.

However, still, quite a nice ride, looks a lot like my first Starion, and judging from sequence, yours is built not too far after mine were......I'd say March of 88 ish?

:confused0024: I was told by the previous owner that it was an 89. I picked up the whole car with parts for $1100. Lesson learned for me. I'm planning to restore it from the shape that it's in. Nothing majorly wrong. Jet valves been deleted, going to put stock pipings back, and clean up the dents. Modifications will come afterwards. The rims are 19" TSW Kyalami that I might put up for sale just so I can get some money to repair the Starion.

JJ = Chrysler Conquest

And The production year cut off was August (8) of the year. So a june or july car would still be same production year not the next year.

Lol, a lot of my friends came by and was like wt....? Supra, Trueno, Celica, 300ZX? I told them it's a mutt, cross breed with everything. Now I'm not too sure if the milage is really 115xxx, just drove around the block a few times and the milage didn't go up? Edited by FairladyZ

Well according to the title and Window sticker it was an 88 Starion built in June of 87

Just in tail lights, mudflaps, wheels, Turbo hatch and wheels you've got instant equity.. $1100 is a steal for that car. Nice deal.

Well, I don't ever come here often but instead of posting another thread, I decided to use this one.

UPDATE!!! As of 03/27/2010

With the economy sucking as much as it does, I couldn't find a decent career in California. I MOVED TO WISCONSIN! And found myself a pretty damn stable job. I shipped my Z here with me and drove it until the snow came down. I'd be risking myself everyday with the Z in the snow so I picked up this:

Just a basic WRX, don't be fooled by the STI spoiler. I needed something sporty and AWD and my main picks were an All-trac Celica or this.

"What about the Starion?"

It's still sitting in CA in my parents garage, untouched. I finally found a place to buy an OEM injector for the car. Fuel Injector Clinic I've searched for awhile looking for these, I don't know if any of you tried this place. But I'll make sure to let you guys know how it goes with them. Nothing has been done with the car, just sold the fugly rims and got these for it:

Dude I envy you already, I haven't even felt a minute of track time. I'm barely starting out building my car. Z for track, Starion for restoration/pride/joy and WRX for daily.

But when I bought the rims from the seller I was like "Is this guy on crack?", after getting them I felt like I bought stolen rims. His craigslist post didn't even show pictures or description of it. All he said was he needs it gone. I just needed something to roll the car in and out of the garage and when I went to look at it, I didn't even argue about the price. :wub: I drove off with a fat a** smile.

i like the way you polished the car up.. it looks as if it was brand new. granted this thread started a year ago, if your every back in fresno hit up us norcal folks.

Thanks. If the automotive industry was my career, I'd rather be a body repair/detail specialist than a mechanic. I can drool over a superbly clean classic car all day.
