Indiana Posted April 21, 2009 Report Share Posted April 21, 2009 You can still buy them at the dealer. You can't pull hard in reverse or down shift into a much lower gear at high speed and use the motor for a brake. When you do either that causes the differential to raise up and stretch these mounts. Normal forward power applied to the rear wheels causes the opposite, causes the differential to be pushed down. Did someone put a jack under the car and tore yours out, you know you can't jack the car up by the differential right? You must use the cross-member .
