MikeMeyerhoff
I've heard a couple of people say they re-did theirs. Did you do yours and how did it turn out? I'm thinking the hardest part is removing the old carpet.
garychoffmann
Mike, I used eurethane reducer in small amounts and a little heat and the carpet came off good. I'm thinking about making some out of fibergalss that I can put an 8 or 10 inch sub in. Once I get one made I would probably make a some for people that wanted one. jolyrgr
I had thought about using abs shets or thin aluminum and bolting the carpet in rather than gluing. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.
slowquest
I could never find one that wasn't either sagging horribly or already broken. I've thought about trying to make one also.

Ok, the heat part I think I can figure out. But exactly how did you use the reducer?
