  4. I am selling one of my sets of rims and tires, I'll sell both sets with a set of stock rims in trade. Prefer local as shipping won't be cheap. But I will ship.... Please note, only reason i'm selling is because i need money, so if you pay by paypal, there will be a delay as the funds get transferred from paypal to my bank account, i think it normally takes 2-3 days First set is 18x8's and 18x10's, could use to be repainted but dont look that bad. Black centers with a silver metal flake lip. 235/40/18's and 255 0r 265/35/18's, tires are good, not new but atleast 50-60% (probably more) comes with adapters for the rear 600.00 obo plus shipping.   5. Thanks, this of course will not end my starquest adventures but this one has to go. If you think about it, your just paying for a shell, rims, turbo and some odds and ends...... adds up to 3200 real quick. If I don't sell it in the next day or so, I'm going to sell the rims and turbo kit to a local mustang guy for 1500. That would be enough to get me by. Throw my other set of rims, get some shorty headers and connect up the exhaust, sell all the other parts i have and probably be sitting at 3500 in parts sold and having an n/a 5.0 conquest. I'm really doubting selling it now for 3200 lol, thanks for making me think lol

  8. definately not pvc lol, i'm swapping out the turbos right now. Pumping oil through the new turbo and letting it spin for a little while before I clock it and mount it. Oh and the V8 does sound nice, wg has a screamer pipe so you can imagine what that sounds like lol

  14. It's running 10 pounds at the moment, right now it just has a cal'd maf and an fmu, runs spot on a/f wise. No rust anywhere on it. There's a walk around of the car 2 days ago, it has the other rims on it in that one. What does it need to be done..... Depends what you want to do with it. I would say by the end of this weekend there won't be too much "project" wise. But it depends on what you want to do with it. Do you want a 450 hp cruiser to put around in and do the occasional roll race? or do you want a dig car that will click off 10's? Right now it's geared towards the 450+hp cruiser. I'm finishing the power steering set up as we speak, I need 2 hoses, 4 clamps, and a longer belt for it to be done. Just need to go spend 30 bucks lol. Gauges are not hooked up, wires are there and color coded, I just took everything out when I was redoing the interior. So that would take about 5 minutes lol. Gauges above the radio are there for looks at the moment. I'm planning on running the volt gauge back to the rear battery, the water temp will go in the water/air intercooler set up, and the oil pressure I was going to get an isolator for and use as a fuel pressure gauge. So there's about 60 bucks and an hour of time. I can't decide on the intercooler setup, I can use the water to air I have but that caps out at about 450 hp cooling wise so I'm thinking about going to a larger water/air set up or an air to air, Right now, it's fine where it is, but if you up the boost you need to cool the charge a bit. Project wise there is not much left, it's unfortunately just a garage queen that gets tinkered with. I used to be able to drive my cars around but all the cops I knew have moved on and the younger kids don't know me so I can't risk running it around on the street. I've driven it very little in the past 6 months but it starts up every time. Tell me what you want to do with the car and I'll tell you what you need to do and what it will cost you, thats about the only way I can judge the project status. Right now it's a running driver that just needs little stuff. oh yeah, pop up headlights, you have to jiggle the switch to get them to go down sometimes.... Switch just needs to be cleaned I imagine
  15. Mike, the important part is going to be cfm, How is your spray pattern at 23 at the gun? 23psi is a guideline to go by. With that much pressure drop your cfm's might be low. I know you told me once but what size tank/motor are you using? If you need any help let me know
  16. Never been raced believe it or not. Local track has been closed and it has been a garage queen for the last 6+ months. I've literally only driven it around the block and done a few first gear pulls. It's more setup for a weekend driver than a drag car. Starts right up, even in the 2 degree weather that we had this winter. It needs a few things which I'll get to as it occupies the garage. I'm not firm on price and I'm willing to haggle, just don't expect me to give it away.
  17. Well it's sad but unless something drastically changes I have to get rid of my car. I know I have to put a price so I'll say 7500.00, hard to say what to ask. Simple rundown of the car is 5.0 HO with forged TRW-VR pistons Holset HX52 C6 tranny Rims, paint, interior is all fresh. I'm open to trades plus at least 3500. so if you have a starcar worth 4k and want to trade + 3500 I'd do it. Comes with toploader conversion and water to air intercooler that needs to be installed. Can come with a stereo also.   19. It could but you don't want to. The power acoustik, lanzars, prestige, ferenheit, etc are all made by the same chinese build house. They are known for shooting craps quickly.
