TSI_SVT Posted July 23, 2008 Author Report Share Posted July 23, 2008 7-22-08: He is finally off dialysis. The bolt and ventilator are still in place. If the night goes well the bolt will be removed tomorrow and possibly even the vent. After that they will continue to monitor him and make sure that everything continues to improve. I am very anxious for him to be off all the assistance and be wake for an extended period of time. At one point during all of this he had lost oxygen to the brain so I am hoping that he is not too compromised and if so can recover, slowly, back to normal. These past few days have been like a roller coaster ride but things have been much more positive since Friday evening. In addition to his mom, grandmother, his older brother, and me he has had family members here almost every day. I will try to post again tomorrow. Thank you everyone.
