I am not sure if this is the correct place for this. But my girlfriend and I just finished a pretty big project on her car. It is a 1985 Dodge 600. We got rid of the old carburetor and put on a stock 12a non intercooled turbo and 89 wiring harness. We will post pics as soon as I can get time. We took pictures every step of the way. Long process and It was all done by my girlfriend and I.

Okay. You asked for pics so here they are!!!

The project:

Yeah you really need an intercooler so the 600 will be well..... ummm......... Fast.

It's great that its almost done maybe you will get some time on your car soon. She must be about ready to ground you till its done now.

Compression ratio is going to be high, I'd not boost that more than 4 or 5 psi to start the headgasket won't take it. The tranny may be the weak link that tranny wasn't ever used with a turbo motor but I'm sure you could build it to be always wanted to do this but in a minivan. You keep the stock motor mounts? Wasn't this mentioned before or somewhere else? I remember reading about this happening awhile back. Should be fun.

We are currently working on uploading the pictures to photobucket. This is the first time I have ever posted pictures online so it is taking me longer. They will be up as soon as possible.

do you need me to come over there and do it for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cus I would, but I would need some gas money so I could get there lol

That's awesome! I want to do that now. It looks like a lot of fun, plus now you can mod it like any factory turbo car (i.e. big intercooler, bigger turbo, big exhaust, more fuel and dyno tuning). w00t.

Looking good.

Rear waterpump FTL... haha...

That crank pulley looks baller... might have to cop me one of them.

yeah I was very happy with how the car turned out. I think one of the biggest obstacles was the power steering pump. The pump stock is mounted right where the turbo inlet is. So the pump is moved down a good 4''. She has been driving it and having fun with it. It has more power then it ever has had in the past.
