Zack_Morris
moar details on oil separator.
livesTSI
The oil separator is just a $20 oil separator for air compressors, you can find them at Lowes/Home Depot/ Northern Tool etc. Then i put 3/8" barb fittings on either side, and ran 15/32" hose from the valve cover to a reducer that reduces the 15/32" to 3/8" hose, which enters the side of the separator, and 3/8" hose attaches to the other side of the separator all the way up to the intake pipe nipple. Thats it, and works just like stock, except for there is no drain back to the oil pan. I probably had $35 in it all together with hose/fittings and the reducer. boostandmuscle
it still acts as a vacuum storage canister, just didnt have it hooked up yet ive been pretty curious if you need that?? does it run in conjunction with the heater controls and the vac solonoid thats up by the header panel that keeps vacum under boost so the heater doesnt cut out?? TexasQuest
Man that's a great looking quest. I was curious of how close the old ford blue was to the fiji, but now I know it matches really well!
