vbrad511
Talk about cool. Add to that, I had Travis Tritt's "rough around the edges" playing throughout the vid and what a kick-a$$ combo. Looks like fun. Anybody got a car I can borrow? 8)

UlrichWolf
I have caught more air in a pickup truck than half of those guys. Let me be the first to tout how well built Ford's Twin I Beam front suspension really is. Tim
Mech
I think subaru has the longest jump. I used to watch WRC on speed all the time, and i remember in one of the commericals for WRC, The subaru car hitting a jump, and getting an amazing amount of air. I didn't see it in the vid. Alcyone
actually they are no relation... cosworth motor is more closely related to the engines in u.s. spec Escorts. AKA CVH (canted valve head) the 1.6 liter turbo escort and EXP are the closest things to the cosworth on U.S. soil. (no power but most similar engine design wise) xr4ti Looks more like the euro scort. but it has the same 2.3 the of the SVO mustang. (still a cool car)(sorry I was an escort dork before I got here.) oh and Skid plates or bust!(your rear diff)

scottyP
I'm not gonna lie, I don't have the balls to do that. After jumping my dirtbike into a tree, I like to keep all sticky surfaces on the pavement, but by god I love to watch it.
4WStarion
Good video, alot of the cars in it are still common here: the Mazda 323s,Celicas, Subaru Legacys RS and of course evos/wrxs are a dime a dozen. I never missed the race to the sky (our pikes) with Rod Millan (Kiwi) and Monster Tajima and am still trying to find footage of a Starion 4wd V8 that was pretty competitive.I was supposed to go to our WRC event this year but a mate is getting married the same week. No way I could drive like those boys, here is a crash I saw a few years back at a local event.

Alcyone
just give the fiances to fix it.. they have some kind of rental services too... crazy.. I was considering co-driver school when I get more stable financially.if I can't afford to drive one I might can aford to ride in one. which will probably be more scary. GCNTSi
I think that racing takes more skill than any other kind of racing, and balls. And you guys that say you can jump like they do well maybe so, hell I jumped my old Montero as high as some of those guys too, but not 10 jumps in one stage, with no damage at the end of the stage. They have some of the best suspensions in those cars ever made, I heard most of their trannies cost around $75k each in with the instant servo shifting setups. It's too bad Colin McRae was killed last year, and that they don't play the WRC on Speed every Sunday night like they used to, I sure as hell miss it. My fav's, official WRC released vids: WRC 2001, this one has the big WRX jump Mech at about 55secs in:and another nasty crash at 2:00 Another good one, WRC 2004: Last but not least the WRC 2002, check out around 2:27 the car flips over top of a spectator standing on the side!: Oh and I'd definitely do it, would love to, with the right car of course. -GCNTSi. Outlander
So youve got the balls to drive, now who has the balls to be the closest person in that group next to the road I don't think I would lable that as balls.
