Outlander
I love it... even though its red! I think R04 is a good color when it is bright and shinny. The only problem with 20 year old red is it fades more than the rest of the colors. I have seen a few R04 cars that have been repainted and I think there HOT....

JustPaus_88TSi
LOL.. Thanks fellas.. It's just a damn shame I can't daily drive it yet, so alot of the things I want to do will be put on hold if I get another car for DD.. I need more camber adjustment as i'm maxed out right now and still have a bit of neg. camber.. I'm not trying to chew up these new tires, or roll on the stockers either.. LOL Those door panels were one of the first things I tried, they came out decent, but I want to have a flat door panel instead. It's just easier and gives me more interior room. gtbanas
Very nice, nice indeed. When do you plan on making those projector headlights for sale?
JustPaus_88TSi
LOL.. I get that question every now and again via PM. The PM's quit coming when they realize I have around $1100 in parts alone, and then roughly 90-100 hours of fab on top of that. Honestly, i'm just not motivated enough to make these for sale. I work too damn much as it is. That could change though, never know.
88hks_starion
Hey, Im pretty new to the forums, and I'd have to say your car is one of the best inspirations for me to step up on my car and do something! very nice CF work and by far one of the best SQs on the site, where did you purchase all that CF for the panels ect???
JustPaus_88TSi
Thanks.. It's not even close to being that nice though.. There's so many guys here who blow me out of the water in many ways.. I am one of the very very few with 19's in the world though, so that's a plus. The only things I have goin for mine is the new rebuild, the rims and the suspension.. My car isn't the fastest by any means, but i'll put up my handling against damn near anyone. My paint sucks, and my interior sucks.. But I didn't do any damage to it in the 6-7 years i've had it. The CF cloth came from uscomposites.com before the big CF shortage hit a while ago.. DoD and Boeing screwed over everyone when they bought as much CF as they could... Used to run around $35 for a 50"x36" piece of CF, now i've seen it as high as $60 for the same size.. The Carbon Kevlar(red/black) is around the same price.. The resin is Silmar 249, and was like $30/gal..
jeffefg90
Any day-time shots of the dash (guage region) would love to see how you mounted your guages.
JustPaus_88TSi
Not yet.. The switches that are normally there, aren't.. Don't ask me why. There's a metal tab with a hole in it that's part of the gauge cluster shroud, the oil pressure gauge's mounting rod goes through it and is held in like that.. The other side of the gauge is another mounting rod, I used a piece of aluminum(bout .75"x2"x.1" or so, drilled two holes in it, and supported the coolant temp gauge that way.. The A/F gauge is in the stock boost gauge's location, and the boost gauge is in the old dash vent opening.
