Ive been asked about this by a number of members here after they have seen the setup that was in my 84.

as you can see it looked ok but it could have been better. Ive now got a design that will look very clean and securely hold a stereo and have room for gages or anything you may wish to add.

The plate is held in place with either screws or rivits to the stock radio side brackets. You will need to drill the holes for these screws/rivits in your brackets. Templates will be included for doing this. It will also be possible to bend the tabs around the stock plastic but you run the risk of breaking the 17-23 year old plastic. You will also need to shave some plastic off of the top inside lip of the shifter bezel. This is easily done with a file or grinder. Once the part is installed it will leave a totally clean look with no visible fasteners. It also being metal it will make it more difficult for a radio to be ripped out.

These are the 2 options that will be available for order. if you want one with the 3 holes but want them in a different pattern, please get the blank one and custom cut the holes. All you need for this is a properly sized hole saw. I'd love to make custom cut ones but its too complicated to do it at this point. All parts are laser cut from 0.050" 6061 T6 Aluminum and will come in a brushed aluminum finish.

A minimum of 10 are needed for each part for an order to be placed. if less then 10 are ordered of one (lets say only 3 people want one with the 3 holes) the all names will move to the non-holed one and cost will be adjusted.

Payment due by November 24 once the total number of people wanting one has been listed up. After the order is placed it will take 10-14 days for the shop to cut and ship out the parts to me.
