y2ktj1
So I've been working on the Quest and have been wondering about the steering wheel since I bought it. It looked like it had a cover on it, so I just assumed it was a mess underneath. Well the more I looked at it, the more it dawned on me that the cover was leather and obviously professionally installed since it was sewn and looked like it could have been factory installed. Since it was trashed, I started to pull the threads... I found an absolutely PERFECT wheel underneath. Was this leather wheel cover factory installed, or did one of the previous owners have it professionally installed? Either way... To me it seems I have scored a win... In an otherwise mess of a car so far. Thoughts, or info if factory?

y2ktj1
Tried to put up the ones I took... Too big. I'll take new ones tomorrow. Any insight?
bha280
They came leather wrapped on some. I've never had one in good shape. The regular wheel underneath is normal.

ucw458
That's one of the first things I did to mine. Use an exacto knife to remove the leather. The leather has been bad in every SQ I've owned.

importwarrior
well i just got off the phone with Craft Customs. http://www.craftcustoms.com/pages/photos-Before-After.htm the cost is $275 to $300 depending on Stitching pattern used.leather does not cause the price to change as much as the stitching pattern.
