IntercooledFlatty
once again, i am very fortunate to have this terd everything is so gosh darnnit clean. it looks to have the orig. struts, calipers and wheel bearings i'm keeping every, and i mean everything off of this car all in it's own place, like it matters doh so i call my local autobone to confirm they have the bearing tool in stock, they did, i reserve it and drive to pick it up. i tell the az dood i'm here for the kit on hold and give him my name. the dood behind the counter says " uhhhh, wut kinda car is this for ? i look him deep into the eyes and say " i am GROOT " the manager comes over, gets me the kit and i go on my way looks like i can't do the rear shp housings til friday i guess i'll do that and the tires, and hopefully the exhaust then as well... time allowing always waiting on someone

IntercooledFlatty
^ they would have looked better in person...in PF anyway, he seems to be all good now except for it sounds like is the right rear strut cartridge is making a lil noise in the housing they were tight when i put them in so i'll investigate. i want to measure it again after a few more days of driving, but it dropped an inch in the front and almost an inch in the rear. man it's filthy from hangin' out in the garage but with a detail he'll be ready for a cruise night this saturday i can't wait to get it on a nice twisty road to let these eibachs and kyb's do what they were meant to do ...shut it mikiehttp://i.imgur.com/JT3A8wH.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/IsOb1Zh.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/oXTivQT.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/jpSDtzd.jpg

MikeMeyerhoff
Definitely a good looking car. I never realized, but it looks like the 85.5 airdam "sticks down" a lot lower than the non-intercooled flatty one.

IntercooledFlatty
I came across a killer deal on a new 101 SS DP with flex, i wanted to change the system to a 3" anyway so there's the motivation Pdawg got the 2.5" for Maci. The exhaust manny had a hairline crack so it got swapped along with the turbo after i cleaned and wrapped it with a titanium wrap kit from flea bay. i got a noo SS oil feed line from ma brudda SOTTY, thanx again , the stock one was tweaked . I also had to repair one stud hole as someone had tried to screw an american thread nut on the number one upper, stripping the threads on the stud and ruining the threads in the head as well i installed a new Bosch O2 and modded an extra heat shield laying around and painted it aluminum color.back to DD status tho it needs exhaust from the DP back, i don't care right now i've been driving him with an open DP. sounds terrible fork lift tractor terd  http://i.imgur.com/vlZddkt.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/S4dnPKM.jpg
