plain ol 60-1 has performed excellent on a few g54s. How much better can it be ?

Have u actually seen the new billet 60-1 wheel "blow it away" ...based on performance numbers

My neighbour 2jz lost considerable performance with a billet comp wheel in his 366. Maybe some bogus stuff out there

Mikes turbo inc. in miami, popular with locals.

M.I.C. hmmmmm

If the blade geometry is the same then there should be no difference.

Do you have ALL the details on your neighbors set up?.

Billet gtx style wheels have better aerodynamics in the design of the wheel.

The answer to your question is the gtx 60-1 wheel is better than it's old cast counterpart.

Plenty of bogus stuff out there.

no, the question was

i'm sure its "better", on paper, but..... "blow it away"? Doubt it mang. Especially on our old 2.6 'mules'.

U never get 2 c such exaggerated claims (easily measured at the tires) is what I'm gettin at. I'd love to tho

  • 2 weeks later...

I've played around with a couple of other turbos on this build. Largest was a t67 (T4) smallest was a 57mm T4. Lag on the 67 caused the low end response to suffer but in boost it felt like a fraight train.

I'M sure a bigger turbo would net more power but the 60-1 feels good all round.
