87quest_stv
I'm really stoked about all the new stuff coming out this year for our rides! Thanks for putting this together for us! No problem. I really love these cars. I just thought others might like what I've done and wanted to share my upgrades with the rest of the family. I'm also thinking of offering my HID projectors as a kit as well, But i haven't settled on a final design that has the left/right up/down adjustments functional the way I'd like it, while keeping the box Universal for modded OR unmodded cars. ( i've done 3 different ones so far) Ok this is just a mockup but it's about as center as I can get the fogbox without completely eliminating that bottom mounting point. Even with this, it (the bottom mount point on the bumper )will need to be shaved about 3/16 of an inch. (I haven't done that yet in the pic) and the I will be able to recess it about 3/4 of the way. So how does this look? Keep in mind I used a scrap piece of metal for the bracket.http://www.getyasumminimotos.com/Conquest/fogcentermock.jpg opposed to thishttp://www.getyasumminimotos.com/Conquest/foghole2.jpg

Killtodie
pics of how it looks in the dark on the road?
87quest_stv
pics of how it looks in the dark on the road? My first post has them lit up. The first picture is without reducing the aperture on the camera, to show that they are pretty bright. The next 3 pics after that I've reduced the aperture on the camera to show the design of the light pattern, But they were only mocked up. I don't have my bumper on at the moment. Once I get a final bracket designed I'll get them installed with the bumper on the car and take a light spread pic.
Killtodie
You can just hold up the bumper and shine it on the road. No need to have it mounted.
87quest_stv
Yea. Perhaps I'll do that. Let me get a more finished look first
leesfer
I think Todie just wants to see the beam that is produced by these LEDS or the brightness of them on the street
87quest_stv
Here's the final look. Hope you all like it. I like it more this way as well.Keep in mind you will need to trim the bottom mounting point about 3/16 of an inch to make this work http://www.getyasumminimotos.com/Conquest/fogcenter.JPG Here's the light spread for toadie. There are no other lights on behind me. It's pitch blackhttp://www.getyasumminimotos.com/Conquest/flightspread.JPG Again these next light pictures are with the aperture toned way down so you can see the light pattern and not just a bright light blur Foglight patternhttp://www.getyasumminimotos.com/Conquest/fogcenter2.JPG Left turn signalhttp://www.getyasumminimotos.com/Conquest/fogcenterL.JPG Right turn signalhttp://www.getyasumminimotos.com/Conquest/fogcenterR.JPG Hazardshttp://www.getyasumminimotos.com/Conquest/fogcenterH.JPG Edited May 11, 2012 by 87quest_stv

Crazy Quest
I was curious are these gonna plug into the factory harness? What's your plans for that?
87quest_stv
I was curious are these gonna plug into the factory harness? What's your plans for that? You can splice them into the factory fog light and turn signal wiring. Me personally, I will be cutting the plugs off the original fogs and wiring those into the new fog wires. I will include instructionsfor mounting and wiring. If you choose to do that. Or you can wire them to be independent of the head lights. You can also search for the fog light switch on with parking light mod here on the forums and still utilize the factory plugs off the original fogs, if you haven't done that yet. StreetVelocity
can you see the turn signals easily on a bright day?
87quest_stv
can you see the turn signals easily on a bright day? Yes, These are bright LED' s, and are brighter than stock Again I'll reiterate this. You may be asking the question because they don't look very bright in the above pictures. Well In order for me to get those pictures I had to turn the aperture down on the camera so you didn't just see a light blur in the dark. 87quest_stv
When I get 10 or more people on the list I'll start taking deposits. The Deposits will not be a significant amount. $10. Only enough to secure you place in line for the fog kits, as I'm only running 11 of them initially. I've got the parts I need on the way. I'll be going to my buddy's this next weekend to use his water jet to cut the housing pieces and brackets. The rest of the parts should be here by then as well. 87quest_stv
With this new mounting I've got to include some additional hardware. So the final shipped price is going to be $138 I'll start taking deposits next week.
kidjc
I thought I read this pretty thoroughly, but still haven't concluded: "If the lense covers will bolt over these LED fogs, (Burtons/MotoCams) using the existing mounting hardware?" Excuse me if I missed this, & it's retoric. Need to know so I can decide to pony up, get on the list? Thanx!

Dodge2004srt4
Add me to the list for the fog signals, once I see some pricing on the headlamps I may go for those as well. Side question, if there any way to not have to trim stuff to make these work? Im not a fan of that just because if I ever go back to the clear lens/HID fogs I have now or want it original its going to have a cut off section in the bumper. Maybe a closeup of what you had to trim. Email is dodge2004srt4@hotmail.com for that pic please. Thanks,Chris.

Maybe a closeup of what you had to trim. You will be able to put it back to stock. The bottom mounting point doesn't need to be completely taken off. Just trimmed down. I'll take a pic tomorrow. However if you want just the fogbox without the bracket, I'll include some double sided tape. Or you can make your own L bracket. Price for that will be the $130 shipped.
