87quest_stv
Need some help. Found a 2jzgte engine in real good shape. The seller said the harness was cut and sent me some pics. Can anyone tell me if this is important or not? http://www.getyasumminimotos.com/Conquest/005.JPG
BOHO
I "think" that is the body plug that you would have to splice into anyways for gauges and 12v to systems. As long as the ecu plugs and then sensor / ignitor plugs are intact you should be good. Check to see which plug it is. If its the body plug it doesn't matter because you can't plug it into anything anyways...lol.
87quest_stv
Yes he said the other connectors were for the ecu. Anyhow. I've decided to go with the 2jzgte off the bat. I've been doing a lot of searching and biding my time for the right deal to come up. I found it.I picked up the R154 tranny for 350. and the 2jzgte for 1700 shipped. just need the bellhousing, flywheel and clutch kit which I think I can get for another 400-500 so i'll have about 2700 2800 in the thing initially. speaking of needing a flywheel. will the 7mgte flywheel work? or has to be a 1jz flywheel

BOHO
It has to be 1jz flywheel. Cheapest I have found is Competition clutch flywheel on ebay. 282 shipped for a 14lb one.
