Need Suggestions

Hey everybody,

 

Recently my MK1 AHP has been comin off like crazy, just cant keep that bugger sealed in the coupler.

 

So, i am lookin for a new AHP intake. If i recall a few people are running prelude intakes, but i am unsure of what year

 

Any suggestion of what AHP intake to run would be fantastic

There must be some tension in the way you're running it or the way it was designed, as its not blowing off from pressure.

 

Have you tried angling it differently? I'd probably just have someone throw some spot welds on it or run a full bead around it so the clamp can't slip off.

well here is my set up and how the pipe looks after it comes off...

That pipes looks to be angled too high. It should be more flat. Might be hard trying to rotate it with a stock air can, but loosen up both ends, make the pipe sit a bit flatter going into the turbo and then rotate and tighten the air can.

I have a *DM intake that has always worked great.

 

Ditto !! Also,www.hosetechninques.com carries T-Bolt clamps. They hold excellently.
