FijiPhil Posted October 7, 2010 Report Share Posted October 7, 2010 So up for sale is my 1989 Chrysler Conquest Tsi, fiji blue, 5 speed, SHP, with a sunroof. I seriously looked for this car for 5 years... and she is a beauty This is my dream car, and I have loved owning and getting to drive around in it the past two years. But, priorities change, and right now I cant have all my money tied up into a toy. Im not going anywhere though, Ive still got my black 88 that will be getting a verrrrry slow restoration Hopefully one day it will be as nice as this car. Anyways, the car has 130,600 miles on it. That may change as I still am driving and enjoying it. The car has had the timing chain replaced at some point and has had the balance shafts eliminated. The head has about 4,000 miles on it, and it has ARP headstuds. Its got a 16G turbo, ported exhaust manifold, 2.5 inch exhaust, accordian hard pipe, OVCP with RFL blow off valve, 1G mas, MSD coil, MBC, and an autometer boost gauge in the stock location. Just minor modifications that could be easily reverted if the new owner desired to do so. The AC works. Ive replaced the timing chain cover gasket, as well as all of the top end gaskets in the motor. The inside of the car is just as nice as the outside. It has reupholstered front seats, wich are soft, supportive, and incredibly comfortable. Its got a pioneer premier CD player with auxillary input, aftermarket speakers powered by an amp, and a Kicker 8 inch sub. It has a momo steering wheel, a short throw shifter of some kind, and a custom shift boot with the mitsu symbol embroidered. Outside, the car has a beautiful coat of fiji blue. The pictures speak for themselves. It has polished 8s and 9s, the fronts have about 4,000 miles on them, the rears have a lot of tread left. It also has the stock 8 way adjustable SHP struts which are still in great shape. This car is not perfect. But, I dont think any 21 year old car is. It drives very well, and gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. Ive owned probably 10 driving conquests, and this has to be the "tightest" and most composed one ive ever driven. Im asking $6,000 OBO. I have much more invested in the car. I can sell the car on the 18 inch rims, but it would cost a little more. Feel free to contact me here, or by phone. carolina_crybaby Posted September 22, 2011 Report Share Posted September 22, 2011 (edited) i brought this car from phil a year ago it's up for sale again and 25 thousand mile later. it still runs good and looks good and the only thing this car need is wash and wax i have to many conquest one has to go 5,500 hundred frim or stays with me i need room but the price stands. the car is very clean, mods are.head, turbo, boost contoller,air can,bigger injector and fuel pump and front seats,if you want it. pm me.leaving for texas in a week and will drive it there and back 1135 miles there. that's how much confidence i have in the car.between biloxi and long beach,La i just get on it at a 140mph water temp @150 ,oil @ 50, boost @15psi phil had it set at 20psi but i turn the boost back to 15psi.i will sell it for my price or keep it. the car is in good condition to sell it cheaper dran1 thanks...
