psu_Crash
VERY Impressive!!! I'll see Joe's in person and likely be in touch. Joe I work with a guy who was just telling me his Dad has a shop that does all sorts of header coatings and that he could get me a good price. I'll show him the pic and see what he says. I know it's far easier to just have it show up already coated but then I'll know for future reference too.
Earl
Yup, so you've swayed me. Definitely will be buying your header when my car is ready for it, then proceeding to bolt on an HX35 with a BEP housing and quick spool valve. Now, time to get her ready... gorgeous work man. You really should start making more stuff for our cars, your work is impeccable. MPI SMIM? yummm -Justin you should see his hardpiping=) i just bought it and can't wait to get it on this winter=D I'd definately be in for one of these sometime in the beginning of next year=~) would it make sense to get a coated one or a stainless??? hmm=P
SOTTY
In a few weeks i'll be back with Chris Viper for another session of dyno pulls with my yet to be seen in public mpi "project Silver" 89 car this time wearing S.M.B's new header design with external wastegate. We have the figures using a stock header now and very confident in seeing a few more rwhp and torque numbers with Chris's excellent design. VICE
Well I just recently bought the T3 SS SQ Mani on Ebay for 300 bucks and the T3 flange was in a very ugly angle and too close go the flange to the head. Cut the flange off and am gona have it re welded at a better angle outward the engine and strengthened with a few bars for $90 and we'll see how this thing holds up.. But from what I have been seeing is pics, the Turbo Flange sits very close to the block I wonder how some of you guys fit big turbos, anyhow this manis flange came all whacked.. LoL anyone want my doorstop (Treadstone)? It seems to be warped, (after being resurfaced on one occasion and heat treated on a previous one) and has a few leaks.. I'll throw it out on the next thrash day.. Edited December 9, 2010 by VICE
S.M.B
i was always curious how that header on ebay was, ide make more braces for it, its gonna crack from heat if not supported.
