Once again great build. I have a few questions for you tho. I'm getting ready to order my 2jz aristo motor tomorrow. I noticed that yours isn't vvti (or correct me if I'm wrong). If that is the case, is there a reason you didn't go with the vvti? Secondly, i didnt notice where you got your motor. Im getting mine from jdm in TX. Also, at what point did you rebuild the motor? My goal is to be at slightly above 500 rwhp. Were you able to get 600 plus out of the stock motor? Ive read these stock motors are stout enough to handle 800whp. Sorry if I missed the answers to these questions in your thread. I've read it beginning to end several times now. Thanks and congrats on your build. Pretty damn amazing!

I got my motor off eBay from a importer in Canada. You can make 600 with a nice single turbo and a set if cams with aem ecu. They are pretty tough motors. I cracked a ring landing on my stock motor that's why I built it. Vvti motors are harder to get aftermarket parts. And it's expensive for a aftermarket ecu to run them. Good luck with your build.

I have an automatic trans Conquest and was planning on getting a 2jz with the auto trans, how much of a difference when it comes to the mounts? Do I just need to have a different trans mount? or use the same mount just forward or aft on the frame rails?

I was also wondering how much are the mounts you fab?

Thank you very much,

PS you have a bad tail SC!
