boy its been awhile for me but I believe you just remove the dsm turbine housing and then bolt on the conquest turbine housing. They both use Td05 turbine wheels so the bore is the same.

The 14B is the compressor wheel and it will not fit a stock conquest (12A) compressor housing - so you will have to have to

1. have your conquest compressor housing bored to fit the 14b

or

2. Use the 14B DSM compressor housing and just buy/find a pipe that bolts on to the 14b compressor housing and then adapts to fit the stock intercooler pipe.

Why are you going to a 14B when then 14G turbo is a bolt up operation with no adaptation BS required? Besides that, a 14G (465 CFM) puts out significantly more CFM than a 14B (420 CFM)?

You have to consider using the DSM 7 CM exhaust housing to fit the 12A compressor housing in order to bolt up the 14B turbo to the stock exhaust manifold. And that gives you increased performance in the mid to upper range performance. Good luck in finding a DSM 7CM exhaust housing that directly bolts up to a OEM Stock Starquest exhaust manifold.

Not sure if you ordered a turbo yet but if you don't have a huge budget and are good with a welder I say go 14b. It has been proven to be a very powerful turbo on dsm's. I have like 100 bucks and a weekend of my time into gettinga 14b on the car. And plus once you get it so you car can bolt up a 14b you can bolt up an EVO316g later if you want or any other turbo that is a direct bolt up to a dsm. Seemed worth it to me.
