I know he's asking too much...but how much?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys...

Found this one about 15 minutes from me. $3K is way too much for it's condition. Doesn't sound like he's going to come down much, but I'd like to throw him an offer.

I need your help to establish how much. Suggestions?

Cheers and thanks,

Nick

Ugh, she's been hacked Nick! Assuming there isn't any rust anywhere its fixable, IMHO its barely above a parts car. $500 is reasonable, $1000 is being overly generous.

Looks that way but hard to tell! I was looking at it for parts is all...I was thinking about $500 as well.

Been texting with the guy (his name is Michael) and encouraging him to keep it. I told him about our site and all you SQ gurus on here...so he's going to become a member on SQC. Hopefully we can help him out. He's in bad need of parts, and it seems like he's been steered the wrong way by somebody. Edited by NikoFab

I like how he says its all original lol. I guess the different suspension 40 over block and parts its missing make it original. But I agree 500-800 would ne a good price. And you would prob have less than 600 in it to get the missing parts.

Up here, it might bring a bit more for not having any rust. That car might actually look decent after a drum of simple green.

Well I was texting with him for a little bit there. Hopefully he got things squared away.
