89BananaQuest
Ok guys i have shp 8's on the front and regular 8's on the back.... I know i have read of people running a 25mm spacer. I got a really good deal on a pair of 32mm spacers for the rear. Will these be to big? I want to get the wheels as flush as possible. Im also running a 205 rear tire at the moment. Got em for free... I plan to get 245-255's some time down the road. But will i be ok with a 32mm spacer on the rear?
AUSSIEOLDIE
If the the supplier is nearby can you do a test fit ?
89BananaQuest
Yea had already got em at home and did a test fit if they were to wide i could take em back. One of the local shops is where i got them. Well i put them on and it has just a little bit of poke. But looks o so good! Now just to do the math and figure out what it will take to get the fronts out flush with the fenders.
RF600
If you have the wheels get some 7/16 flat washers.Put equal amounts on 3 studs and keep adding til you get it where you want. The washers are close to 2mm thick.
Lance_S
I run 30mm spacers on 8rears with 245/45. You gotta roll the fender but they fit on stock suspension no prob.
Crazy larry
You do put longer studs in right? Why take a chance of loosing a wheel.. Last car I bought wheel was held on by 3 threads on each lug nut... spacers are NOT going back on.
D_Venable
technically, what we're talking about are adapters... like this vvv http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10030/NewSpacer2.jpg anything over 10mm you want an adapter/spacer, but the smallest you can find are around 15mm, which my require trimming of the stock studs, depending on the wheels' mounting face Edited August 4, 2012 by D_Venable
patra_is_here
30mm should push the wheel real close to flush. if you are running 205/50 you'll be fine. also, like dveneble said, get the ones with the studs in them, that way you just keep your regular studs on the hub and you;ll be fine. jszucs
No way are you sure? I didn't know studs for all cars were same size... Nowhere did you ask what size. Nor would we have any idea what size you would even need. There are a hand full of sizes and 3 types that I know of, of studs. Your going to need to measure for the length you need, which will be dependent on the spacer size, and rim mount type. As for the other dimensions you need, do a search or read the manual.
