Marker1989
Does anybody have my dimensions for the rear subframe bushings? I'd like to make some, since I'm sure nobody else does. If nobody has this info I'll wait till I start taking the car apart, just thought I'd ask first.
Convette
I dont but am very interested in your our outcome. I want to build them also, but dont want to take my car apart again.. Edited January 14, 2013 by Convette
Laodicea
If someone could give measurements of a poly bushing. I think it would be a good start. I don't want to take mine apart either to make these.
Marker1989
Well mines coming apart soon anyway so we'll have an answer by then at the latest. You think a group buy could be in order?
JohnnyWadd
61 mmhttp://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/urethane%20subframe%20bushing/th_2013-01-14145013.jpg 55mmhttp://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/urethane%20subframe%20bushing/th_2013-01-14145043.jpg 41mmhttp://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/urethane%20subframe%20bushing/th_2013-01-14145113.jpg 27mmhttp://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/urethane%20subframe%20bushing/th_2013-01-14145207.jpg 27mmhttp://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/urethane%20subframe%20bushing/th_2013-01-14145236.jpg 65mmhttp://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/urethane%20subframe%20bushing/th_2013-01-14144952.jpg Thats a stedebani red bushing. When i measured the i.d. it showed 27mm or 27.5 mm at some spots kinda weird but i figured i should note that. I went with 27mm. Better to be tight and need some sandpaper smoothing and a rubber mallet and grease to install than be loose Edited January 14, 2013 by JohnnyWadd
creakyjoints
I measured my Mookeh one. Came up with the same numbers basically. They were a quarter to half mill larger.

StarquestRescue
Why not a heim joint? Those arms still need to be able to pivot at the front anchor point.. Edit. Thinking of the joint at the front of the a arm mounting point. Edited January 17, 2013 by StarquestRescue

Marker1989
I'll be doing this in the next few months, so not exactly right away. If anybody gets to it before me go ahead and post up here, I'll do the same when I'm done.
Laodicea
We do not need to reuse the inner bushing or the outer two shells. I need the I.D. of the bushing and the I.D. of the frame where this bushing will go with all the material cleaned out so I can finish these I already started. I have a feeling that I need to measure a subframe in hand myself so I can fine tune the cut. Hopefull make a nice tight fit with minimal sanding if any. I just dont have one laying around. JohnnyWadd
I have a rear subframe i could measure or hack one end off and send to someone. You guys know there are a few places that will make the bushings in super hard urethane. If you got enough group buy interest it would be worth it. Edited February 7, 2013 by JohnnyWadd
