CarlosFley
I searched, but didn't find a definite answer so here i am making a new thread. You guys know that line going from the OVCP nipple to the wastegate? Can I replace with just a simple silicone vacuum line? Or will the heat affect it? speedyquest
As long as you keep it away from the manifold and hotside of the turbo you should be fine. Guys replace the whole vacuum system with silicon vacuum line all the time.

CarlosFley
Awesome, that's all I wanted to know. Thanks peeps
StarquestRescue
I do not like the silicon vacume hose. It is slippy and tends to blow off. Tends not to be very oil resistant either. The old fashion rubber hose's seem to stay on much better.
TexasQuest
I'm still using old fashioned rubber vacuum tube.
pcristquester
Yeah, the rubber seems to act like a shrink tube over the connections. Less tendency to slip or pop off with a little pressure
importwarrior
Worst case use zip ties.
Edde
I use rubber with the cloth braid around it. I just keep about 20 feet on hand at all times and replace when it gets hard.
