So first off I haven't touched any electrical on my 86 starion. I bought the car because it was in such nicr shape for a MN starion. ( one rust spot the size of a quarter) but when I test drove it I noticed the MAS wasn't plugged in and I asked the guy about it. All he said was it's about the ecu being able to still drive with out it, so I believed him and bought the car, it's been 6 months and this is my first post and I need help!   All the wiring is fine and intact ( besides vacuum lines) I

I am rebuilding the original engine that was in my car. I have used a tap to clean out the threads, but that seems to ever so slightly take some material off. What do you guys use?
