By pure_insanity,

SDS magnet install
By Chad,
Get to the SDS manual on the pulley magnet alignment page as a fefrence. OK, now get a compass and a piece of paper, measure the OD of the PS pulley. Now pick a point on the center of the paper and make a small dot, now make a circle just a half millimeter bigger than the PS pulley. If you have a 3 magmet setup, mark another line from the center dot to the edge of the

Can I just gut the distributor?
By phishfud,
I am running an SDs EM4-E with the MSD ignition. I know I do not need the vac advance any longer, and that I can remove that. What about the other dist internals? Leave em or take em out? I didnt see anywhere in the SDS manual where I need to hook any electronics to my dist, so I am assuming I can just remove anything not used. Any info would be great here. Thanks.
