What have you guys done for a front tow hook? My stock tow hooks are all bent up from the previous owner. I had to get towed last week and was afraid that my airdam was going to get damaged because of how bent they are. I'd like to get something that sticks out a little farther than the airdam to keep it from getting damaged. I've seen this thread, but I don't have a welder to build my own. Any generics out there that work with only simple modification (drilling,bending,no welding)?

can they be replaced with the head on the car? or is it easier to just pull the head and do it the proper way?   is there anything more robust and better then the stock ones?

Installing the JDL header required a new downpipe so I decided to build one myself. i bought the 90 degree 6" center line radius bends from Columbia River Mandrel Bends in 16 gauge mild steel.
