1983 hood question - Were there any inserts inside the hood scoops?
By ghengber,
On the 1983 hood, does anything go inside the hood scoop cutouts, like some kind of an insert or something? The scoops look like they could use something, especially from the front of the hood what do most people do with those hood scoops for appearance? Leave them empty or fabricate some type of insert?
What kind of power do you think I'll make/place 'ya bets

By Aman,
In the process of building my car, I have an 8-blade HX35 (killer deal for a vband outlet and non-internally gated), Maxboost MPI, JDL twin scroll EL manifold in the works, on the list to buy is a Bosch 044, full engine management by Scotty, Meth injection, non-forged internals on a 50K engine that has been gone through, balance shafts retained, stock cam with SS valves and jetted head, full 2.5" exhaust. If there is anything I should change, speak up. Looking for power estimates as well
Need cowl piece (where windshield wipers sit)
By ghengber,
I really need the windshield cowl (the plastic, slotted piece behind hood where windshield wipers are). It is 2 pieces and I only need drivers side but will take the whole thing. (Even if yours is broken, I really only need a piece of it.) Also, I could use the hood prop rod and the little black pieces that cover the windshield wiper pivot nuts (they are covers so they just just pop off). I need all three - 2 front and 1 rear. Shipping to 33076 (South Florida). THANK YOU!!
Finally got a computer upgrade

By ucw458,
But I'm not sure how much I want to use it. The computer I've been using for the past 8 years is an old dell dimension 2400. Single core pentium 4, 2.6 gig with 2 gig of ram, 10 gig and 120 gig IDE HDs, no add on graphics card and win XP. Kinda slow but gets the job done. I got my hands on a dell inspiron touchscreen laptop. AMD A6 quad core 1.8 gig with 8 gig ram and 1 terabite drive. Arguably a better machine but not fast enough to play all the cool new games. Thinking of hooking it to
