OK, I am about to replace my motor with another used (totally stock) motor (which reportedly had no head gasket problem). This motor that I am installing sat for many years in the donor car. The motor has 60,000 miles on it.   I plan on replacing all the easy stuff--coolant/heater hoses, intake manifold gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, oil pan gasket, water pump, etc. I will replace the timing chain/balance shaft chain & guides. Sorry if this story gets really long.   Ok so this is the thing, I used to own a 86 Conquest I picked up from a guy here Medford, Oregon that used to work for a shop that closed down years ago. One of the cars he was working on was the 86 conquest for a lady that was from border town to Oregon in Washington. The car broke down here in Medford she left it to get it fixed and days, weeks, & then months went by. The lady never came back for her car nore did she answer her phone, the shop sen
