I finished cleaning out the new shop today, (still needs garage door and electricity) and was going to move in the Conquest for some pictures... went to start the car and smelled gas while cranking. Popped the hood and fuel was spraying out where fuel line enters the fuel rail. It was raining, so I haven't taken it apart yet, but I assume it is a simple O-ring seal like other Mitsubishi fuel systems. i thought i was 100% sure it was fuel pump or knock box so i changed both and didnt worry about the issue anymore. Well today on my way home ( 3 hour drive) about hal way it started sputtering and bucking( engine is shuting off) but if i kept it above 2000 rpms and kept the rpms steady it would stay running an i drove it the rest of the way like that.
