how do you turn off this darn auto quote in pm's,, man thats about lame after 3 pms or replys you can't hardly make out whats what , and it starts to send error messg's

Alright im having a little problem, just trying to figure it out and see where to go from here..   When the wire from the battery to the fuel pump jump wire, i get power to the trunk..put it doesnt fire up the fuel pump..so i figure the fuel pump is dead..ok..so when I take the jump wire off and try it with the key in the start position and test i get no power in the trunk...just only when i have the jumper hooked up...?? am i doing something wrong...? or is it both the fuel pump and the eci r
