I'm looking to buy a maf translater for my 89 quest to set up the hks air intake system going to use it with a 3" gm maf. do i need one for a dsm 90-94 or 95-99 dsm or other...thanks

ok, so i know the timing on these bad boys is 10*btdc. i just set mine today in hopes of eliminating this terrible drivability problem. So i set it to proper spec. then while it was idling, i revved it up to see if the timing moved. it went from 10* to off the timing mark and beyond....i'm still a virgin to these cars, but that doesn't seem normal. I'm assuming if that is true that i have a bad vacuum advance. thoughts? thanx

i just bought an 87 tsi. new plugs wires cap and button. injectors tested and cleaned. it drives normal under light load and part throttle but at full throttle it spits and sputters. I was thinking vaccum advance I have orderd one but its not here yet any other ideas? thanks for the help
