looking for a MAF translator For the GM 3" MAF.

I have a car here that appears to have the cam pin just past 12 o clock   The head was off the car and this probably happened during that process, the car was brought to me , and I would think that the distance would most likely indicate that the crank needs to go back 1 tooth , I know that if I do the cam it will be 2x the distance per tooth which I think is going to be too much .   Im looking to not pull the timing cover and oil pan and all that to do this as this motor never seems to seal

I bought a new TPS.. I was just wondering if I just install the new one and thats it... if I need to do some testing or adjustment   Thanks.
