  1. Someone had to multi-quote this one! Here is a good reference for how to post pics: http://www.ehow.com/how_2059986_post-image...age-boards.html http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2...et_message.html It's easy once you get the hang of it, just like learning a phrase or two in a new language. All readers of your post will like you for doing this and it really helps you sell your car & cut down on needless questions. All you need to use here is [ img] [ /img] not the img src stuff.
  2. Yeah, let us know... that is about my ideal SQ if the AC works and it was about $3K cheaper. The ad says it has a sunroof, but from the angle of the pics it is hard to tell. I'd like to find one w/ the stock steering wheel & radio also, always liked that feature. Really nice looking car.
  3. I think his caps lock key shorted out his email program .
  4. This should help as background for those that don't read every thread here: http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.p...c=78478&hl=
  5. 125 views on this one and 119 on the other. The anticipation is building...
  6. Your price is right... just a limited market for many things right now due to money concerns. I have a Dodge Durango that all the online places say should sell for $7K retail (also low miles) and trade in for $5800. Been FS for over a month & have also lowered the price under trade in, still no takers. Seems like no one is in a hurry to buy anything unless it gets 1,000 MPG LOL. If you can get a local sale anywhere around your price even if the buyer is a moron I would take the cash.
  7. 31 in stock eh? Maybe you can check inventory . Here is what I'm looking for: Exterior: Blue-Yellow-White-Red Interior: Black Must have: Working AC, sunroof, 5 speed, widebody Must not have: Rust- body panels, rails Synopsis: Looking for a running mostly stock Starquest. Can do some repairs, but have a lot of projects already & really need a driver at this point. On the other end of the scale I'm not looking for a car to show.
  8. A lot of what Widebody said was echoed by a mod in another forum I belong to. When you put a lot of time & money into a car, you always expect others to appreciate it when you go to sell it. What is one mans meat is another's poison, so the roll cage you fabricated and would cost several thousand to replace is an inconvenience to someone else that sees it as being in the way to get in & out. You'd probably do better on Autotrader or Ebay, as you'll find a wider audience to find that right/unique buyer, albeit at the expense/trouble of having to relist when the winning bidder doesn't pay. Finally one in this part of the USA! BTW, does the AC work?
  9. $700 shipping is a deal. I tow a 20' car hauler with a 5.9L Durango & get 10-11 MPG empty & about 9 loaded. Jupiter to PA = over 1K miles each way! I crunched average MPG for a 2.1K round trip & you'd spend over $800 in gas... not to mention food & lodging. Run the numbers: $2800 car $ 700 shipping $3500 to your city/possibly driveway I doubt you'll find one as nice around here (FL) for the money.
  10. Definitely a 20 footer or better based on that pic. He can probably get a duplicate title for < $50, like you said, it would make it a lot easier to sell and fix.
  11. I know what you mean- #1 obstacle towards buying another one!
  12. One owner, 76K miles, working AC for $2600? Wonder why it didn't sell on ebay?
  13. Looks like you have most of the ad listing bases covered. Asking price?
  14. Since the body is pretty straight, you should look into doing a roll-on Rustoleum paint job. Takes some time, but the cost is well under $100 and I bet that would really sell your car.
  15. The only thing you need to do when you get her is to charge the air conditioning system for the summer. Are there any of these for sale with working AC? I always have to wonder when I see this or "it just needs the belt put on for the AC to work." If it was something as simple as this, why not get it fixed before you sell it? I was also wondering why I didn't see this in my regular ebay "cars and trucks" search until I realized he has it Listed in category: eBay Motors > Parts & Accessories > Car & Truck Parts > Transmission & Drivetrain > Clutches & Parts.
