New cylinder oil rings are very close the limit

I purchased the Beck Arnley ring set from Rock Auto about 5 months ago. I am now installing the rings. The No. 1 and No. 2 ring are tight so I hand filed them into specification of .3 mm for the No. 1 ring and .25mm for the No. 2 ring. Now the oil rings and the oil ring spacer appear to be too large. The oil ring gaps are measuring at .038 in which is very close to the .039 in limit. I tried different rings in different cylinders and the result is similiar. The original stock ring is meau

the metal coolant line that runs on the back side of the engine and under the exhaust manifold on my g54b is rusting away and isent repairable so i need one i good condition let me know what you have thanks

Computer won't shut off/hibernate...any ideas?

My Dell Inspiron n5110 with Windows 7 has been having this issue lately. If I hibernate, standby, shutdown, or restart, it will not shut off completely. The monitor shuts off, the fan shuts off, but the hard drive indicator, power button, and power light all remain solidly illuminated. The computer does get hot when it does this as well. The first time it did it, what shut it off was the battery dying. If I hold the power button it will shut off, but of course it'll reboot with th
