replacing oem gauges with aftermarket ones

Hello... i want to delete 4 Oem gauges from my cluster and relocate them with aftermarket gauges(volt, oil temp.boost, water)what i need to make them work properly?...do i need to connect them to any wire to send signal to ecu or dont need it?
