Found out today my ring gear is broken..how much does a repkacement cost?..& do they still make them? Or ull have to find original?..& I read on auto trans the ring gear is welded..if so how much does a flywheel replacement cost?.. Thanks - nestor

I've got a bad steering socket coupler (big surprise there..) and I've heard of some people welding over this. Is this a good idea? Does anyone have any info on how to do it?

I have to replace 2 freeze plugs in the block which is better to get brass or steel?
