Does anybody know of any mechanics who actually know about our cars and live near the LA area? This is only for when I'll need major mechanical work done that I can't do at my house with the tools I have. The few shops I've taken it to don't know what it is.

I picked up a Mookeeh/MK1 oil pressure gauge w/sender and I'm having issues getting it to work properly. I also have their coolant temp gauge and that works perfectly. The oil pressure gauge is wired up the same as my coolant gauge, i.e. same 12V feed and ground, and it will turn on when I put the key to run, but when I start the car, it seems like it's losing power and it's not getting any reading from the sender. I have the sender screwed into the block port right behind the timing cover. Is a
