Check it out. When I got the Quest it was VERY oxidized as many of the Mexican Red ones are. Today I got the buffer out with some Medium to Heavy Rubbing Compound on her and she shines like a new diamond. I am simply amazed at how well it shines after 20 years. The only part on the car that I can tell was ever re-painted was the rear bumper from the chipping around the black parts. Alight guys just purchased a 86 conquest tsi..knowing it had a knock tore the block down and found on it #4 rod bearing was spun..took it to the machine shop today and found out #4 journal was 25 thousandths down...so he suggested to find a crank in better conditon...if anyone has one let me know he has my block and pistons just need a crank to get finshed...thanks guys
