Oil leaks - how challenging

Car is currently at the mechanic for driveshaft work and I asked him to hunt down some oil leaks I noticed a couple days prior to dropping it off. Turns out my p/s pump is leaking, a side cover on the engine is leaking a tiny bit(balance shaft chamber Im guessing), and the rear main seal is leaking onto the flywheel(oil pan is dry, head is dry). The first two I think I could tackle myself but the last one scares me a bit because he said hes got to drop the tranny to get to it. What kind of chall
Can a collapsed lifter cause engine vibration?

I have a vibration from 1200rpm-2400 or so, then it gets less pronounced. It is very noticeable in that rpm range and I can feel it in the chassis and through the shifter. Its there when the clutch is in and out, both idling and moving, so I know know its not the rear end, driveshaft, or tranny. Its somewhere in the engine or flywheel.
