I was wondering if anyone can help me out, what are the usal power limits of the 4 bolt and 6 botl rearend in a starquest? I am swapping a 5.3 in the car now and am concerned the rear might not like the increase in power, plans are for the car to make 500rwhp down the line on a drag radial so anyone with any drag racing experience is welcome to input.

Everything you need to bolt up to the wideblock. Trans and bellhousing already assembled and sealed. Crossmember will need to be fabbed/modified but the original TII crossmember and mount are included. Shifter is present and driveshaft yoke included to get a start on a custom shaft.   I've gotten older and would rather be quick and look good doing it than to build a monster for all out power. Stock 89 quest trans will do what I want.   Not interested in parting it out.   http://imageshack.us

Hi so i will be doing a 1jz/r154 swap in my sq soon. I will be using "vettekiller" moto mounts. My sq is my daily drive but i will have a car available for a week or two. So i am trying to gather as much parts to minimize my down time. And need some help getting some measurements to have a custom drive shaft made. Dose any one have the measurements noted yet. Any help is much appreciated.
