Testing ETACS
By BradD,
Is there a procedure for testing an ETACS unit? I have some electrical issues with my '87 TSi and I have followed all of the procedures to test and clean the fuse-able links, checked all of the fuses themselves and tested my recently rebuilt alternator. My wipers will not work on intermittent speed, the windows do not seem to work, at first they would work when the wanted but now they will not at all. Also the rear defrost is not working. I think the only thing left is the ETACS but I don
Oil Cooler
By jabbott126,
Ok so I have a freshly rebuilt motor and I don't want to use my original oil cooler because im worried there could be metal shavings left over from the bearings being spun. So my question is what size are the banjo fitting bolts that we use? I found a 3000gt oil cooler kit from cx racing that has a banjo fitting adapter to -8AN. I just want to make sure that it will fit before i buy it. thanks Jake
rear end strength questions
By HELLO PUFFIN,
I was wondering if anyone can help me out, what are the usal power limits of the 4 bolt and 6 botl rearend in a starquest? I am swapping a 5.3 in the car now and am concerned the rear might not like the increase in power, plans are for the car to make 500rwhp down the line on a drag radial so anyone with any drag racing experience is welcome to input.
B2600 bell, TII trans, shifter, and yoke
By MainstreaM,
Everything you need to bolt up to the wideblock. Trans and bellhousing already assembled and sealed. Crossmember will need to be fabbed/modified but the original TII crossmember and mount are included. Shifter is present and driveshaft yoke included to get a start on a custom shaft. I've gotten older and would rather be quick and look good doing it than to build a monster for all out power. Stock 89 quest trans will do what I want. Not interested in parting it out. http://imageshack.us
